"Your Papers Please," Vaccine Passports Are Coming
G20 world leaders signed a declaration to require vaccine passports.
There are two posts in this article. The first post below is a March 28, 2021 report by Tom Pappert for National File. Pappert reveals a little-known plan by the Biden Administration to require vaccine passports. That post will be followed by a November 19, 2022 update from Sonia Hickey, wherein she documents the declaration by the world leaders at the G20 Summit that the 20 largest economic powers in the world would require vaccine passports for international travel and domestic business access. Pappert reported:
After months of speculation, today [March 28, 2021] The Washington Post confirmed that the Biden regime is developing a “vaccine passport” that Americans may need to present to prove they have received their COVID-19 vaccine before they will be allowed to engage in commerce in a “return to normalcy” that looks nothing like the past.
According to The Washington Post, the Biden regime “and private companies are working to develop a standard way of handling credentials — often referred to as “vaccine passports” — that would allow Americans to prove they have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus as businesses try to reopen.”
They note that many businesses, “from cruise lines to sports teams,” will require individuals to take the COVID-19 vaccine before they are offered business. The Biden regime, apparently, views this as a positive development.
“The passports are expected to be free and available through applications for smartphones,” the Post reported. “Which could display a scannable code similar to an airline boarding pass. Americans without smartphone access should be able to print out the passports, developers have said.”
According to those developing the vaccine passports, they must be entirely unique, and not able to be hacked or tampered with, lest Americans engage in commerce without taking the controversial vaccines.
Biden’s team is apparently committed to the vaccine passports, though they refused to speak to the media on the subject, and apparently do not like branding them “passports” but would instead like to see them called “credentials or certificates.” The Washington Post explains:
Micky Tripathi, whom Biden tapped as the national coordinator for health IT, recently said federal officials are concerned with a variety of health-tech challenges, including protecting the credentials against fraud, ensuring data security and making certain that low-income populations aren’t squeezed out.
“How do we make sure that whatever is available is accessible to everyone so no one is left behind or feeling like they can’t participate in the return of their day-to-day activities?” Tripathi asked at a virtual meeting hosted by the Health IT Leadership Roundtable on March 11.
Tripathi told the group he didn’t like the term “vaccine passports,” adding that “passports are something that are issued by governments. … I think of them as vaccine credentials or certificates.” Tripathi did not respond to a request for comment.
The Washington Post explains that the initiative is happening globally, with the CDC participating in the controversial World Health Organization’s initiative to roll out the passports.
The left wing newspaper also believes that the vaccines can be used to bully skeptical Americans into taking the controversial vaccines.
“There is evidence vaccine passports could motivate skeptical Americans to get shots. Several vaccine-hesitant participants at a recent focus group of Trump voters led by pollster Frank Luntz suggested their desire to see family, go on vacation and resume other aspects of daily life outpaced fear of the shots, particularly if travel companies and others moved to require proof of vaccination,” they assert.
However, the Biden regime apparently wants this pressure to come entirely in the form of corporate interests requiring vaccines, and does not want to use the weight of the federal government to require the vaccine passports.
[End of report by Tom Pappert]
[The Biden vaccine passport plan would include all manner of domestic commerce, from restaurants to schools and hospitals, etc., in addition to domestic travel. The obvious problem with the U.S. alone imposing vaccine passports for travel is that it would only work for travel within the U.S. In order for a vaccine passport system to apply to international travel, other countries would also need to impose them on their citizens. It must become a universal requirement for international travel, as is the case with ordinary passports, or it will not work. No doubt, the G20 vaccine passports will also facilitate domestic restrictions on access to businesses for the unvaccinated. That is what the G20 countries are planning.]
Update November 19, 2022: The following is a post by Sonia Hickey revealing the plans by world leaders for Vaccine passports.
[Sonia Hickey is an Australian freelance writer, magazine journalist, and owner of 'Woman with Words'. She has a strong interest in social justice and is a member of the Sydney Criminal Lawyers® content team. Sonia is the winner of the Mondaq Thought Leadership Awards, Spring 2022.] She writes:
At this year’s G20 Summit in Indonesia, the twenty participating world leaders signed a declaration to introduce vaccine passports for their respective jurisdictions, with the stated intention of creating a global verification system to facilitate safe international travel.
What is the G20?
The G20, which stands for Group of Twenty, is an assembly of governments and leaders from 20 of the world’s largest economies, and includes Australia.
The members are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union.
Typically, the summit discusses issues of global importance, so it is perhaps no surprise that Covid-19 was a particular focus of this year’s summit.
Commitment to vaccines
In a statement, the leaders affirmed their respective countries’ support of the World Health Organization mRNA Vaccine Technology Transfer hub, which aims to build capacity in low- and middle-income countries to produce mRNA vaccines.
The leaders said they welcome joint production and research of vaccines and acknowledge the importance of shared technical standards and verification methods.
They also agreed to a globalised ‘vaccination passport’.
Vaccination passport to be introduced next year
While the details are scant at this stage, the statement says this will be done under the framework of the International Health Regulations to “facilitate seamless international travel, interoperability, and recognizing digital solutions and non-digital solutions, including proof of vaccinations.”
Indonesia’s Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that a Digital Health Certificate using World Health Organization standards would be introduced during the next World Health Assembly in Geneva, in May next year.
“If you have been vaccinated or tested properly, you can move around. So for the next pandemic, instead of stopping the movement of people 100%, you can still provide some movement of the people,” Mr Sadikin said.
Surprisingly, this news has not really grabbed the attention of mainstream media, despite its very serious implications for freedom of personal choice and freedom of movement.
Serious implications
For the past two years, Vaccines have been widely promoted, and in many cases mandated, as a way to mitigate the effects of Covid-19. They have caused a great deal of controversy too, particularly when “no jab, no job” policies were introduced.
There was a period of time when people who were not vaccinated were banned from entering restaurants, pubs, and clubs, retail shops and hairdressers… you couldn’t cross the border into another state without proof of being double-jabbed with an “approved vaccine”. Kids who weren’t vaccinated were denied sporting activities, and some people were even denied medical treatment.
This was not considered discrimination, in fact, in many cases, breaching these health regulations amounted to a criminal offence.
Discrimination and the social divide
In a Western democracy, for the many people who uphold and value of freedom of choice, much of this pandemic legislation seemed like disturbing government overreach and the strong push for vaccines created a significant amount of push back from people who were pro-choice. Many who protested their rights were arrested.
At the time, this group were largely branded “anti-vaxxers” and were turned into social pariahs, despite the fact that there was, at the time, no evidence that the vaccine would stop transmission of the virus, although medical evidence suggested it would lessen the severity of the virus if you caught it.
Around this time last year, in New South Wales the rhetoric around vaccinations changed from two jabs, to three being necessary to be considered “up-to-date.”
What about democracy?
But as we moved into 2022, and Australia adopted the “living with the virus” approach, relaxing all the rules and putting an end to the ‘emergency powers’ which gave governments the ability to create and enforce any rules they deemed necessary to deal with the pandemic, a sense of relief has come over our communities, the social divide created by vaccines is abating, and life seems to be returning to normal.
So, it’s somewhat alarming that governments – and of those belonging to the G20, the majority represent democracies – would consider introducing a passport that, since it was first mooted by individual countries, been widely condemned as medical discrimination as well as a violation of privacy with serious ethical implications.
Of more concern are reports that the vaccine won’t just apply to Covid vaccinations, but also to any vaccination that WHO recommends is required for international travel.
It’s a story to watch closely, particularly with the G20 governments so keen to quickly implement a scheme, and few details have actually been made public, such as which countries will adopt the passport, how many vaccines will be required, whether or not exemptions are possible … the list goes on.
In the meantime, the G20 is declaring the move on which will “build on the successes of Covid-19”.
It’s difficult to know exactly how those “successes” have been measured when you consider the immense social and economic cost of Covid-19.
Efficacy of vaccines
Whether or not the vaccine did save lives is something to seriously question too, given that at least one of the pharmaceutical companies involved in supplying a vaccine has been accused of falsifying data relating to its vaccine trials, that Australian GPs were threatened with deregistration, if they expressed concerns about the vaccines, exemptions were virtually impossible to obtain, and that most of us are still confused by lack of real transparency around the criteria governments used for identifying cases, active cases and covid deaths during the height of the pandemic.
Building on the ‘success’ of Covid-19’
In the wake of Covid, certainly here in Australia, the economy is a mess, businesses are struggling, mental health services are overwhelmed, recording higher numbers of patients presenting with depression than ever before, the number of homeless people increased, and so too have incidences of domestic violence.
Hundreds of thousands of children missed vital months of schooling; many people were fined or arrested, or subjected to police brutality during the enforcement of public health regulations… If our leaders also include these factors in the equation then the attempt at defeating Covid-19 (which still exists, by the way) can’t truly be considered a success at all.
Last but not least we need to also acknowledge the people who have suffered serious injuries from the vaccines. To date there are at least 10,000 people who intend to apply to the Australian Federal Government’s no-fault indemnity scheme – a cost that will be borne by Australian tax payers.

COVI-PASS
Below is an article I originally posted on February 12, 2021, on my Greate Mountain Publishing blog titled Vaccine Passports Are on the Way:
On July 28, 2020, I reported about the plans for a digital health passport. I explained:
The groundwork for mandatory vaccines is being laid by the implementation of a digital health passport. This is not science fiction. This is real. There are plans now afoot to require a person to prove that they have been vaccinated in order to engage in ordinary commerce. They call it a digital health passport, but it will not be limited to authorizing international travel. It will be required to engage in all manner of travel and commerce. Your travel and commerce will be blocked if your digital health passport does not reflect that you have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Please understand that the vaccine passport will be required for all manner of commerce within your state. You will need to travel, board a plane, board a train, board a bus, board a cruise ship, enter a hospital, enter a school, enter government buildings, enter a store, enter a bank, enter a hotel, enter a theatre, etc.
At that time I identified COVI-PASS as one of the proposed digital health passports. The COVI-PASS website admits that it is intended to be a passport to act as a basis to exclude someone from engaging in ordinary commerce.
At the time there was no COVID-19 vaccine. But COVI-PASS was prepared for a vaccine and could be adapted as a vaccine passport very easily. I reported:
The ultimate plan is that when a COVID-19 vaccine is developed COVI-PASS will be used to verify that the person has been vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccination. That vaccination information will then be a prerequisite to commerce and employment. The COVI-PASS website explains:
I reported that the proposed vaccine passport would ultimately be mandatory.
In response to the question about someone who decides not to obtain COVI-PASS, the COVI-PASS website states that you likely will not have a choice in the matter. The COVI-PASS may be required. Indeed, that is their business plan, which is why all of their efforts have been focused on marketing their product to governments. The consumer will be required to use COVI-PASS by the governments. COVI-PASS states:
Raul Diego for Mint Press News explains that “COVI-PASS will determine whether you can go to a restaurant, if you need a medical test, or are due for a talking-to by authorities in a post-COVID world. Consent is voluntary, but enforcement will be compulsory.”
I explained in my July 28, 2020, article:
Once a person takes the vaccine he can “return to normal’ and be able to have our freedom back. At least, that is the promise. But it is a lie. The vaccine is just the first of a myriad of hoops that the sheep will need to jump through. Those who agree to take the vaccine will be circus animals running around the ring and obediently jumping through the hoops held by their trainers.
I am sorry to report that it seems I was correct. It turns out that the planners are bringing the digital vaccine passport to fruition. On February 11, 20211, Frank Salvato, writing for National File, reported that there are high-level government plans to implement just such a vaccine digital passport requirement.
The CBS News reporter [Peter Greenberg], speaking with a level of authority usually reserved for higher-level medical professionals intimate with the COVID pandemic, said while digital versions of “your papers” appear to be the goal, early models will likely be physical.
Salvato identifies COVI-PASS as one of the technologies to be used for the vaccination passport.
One entrepreneur [COVI-PASS] has come up with two versions of a vaccination passport, one for international travel and another for domestic. The international version has e-vaccine technology that is tantamount to an electronic version of your health records.
National File reported about COVI-PASS on May 26, 2020, as one of the candidates for a proposed digital health passport. COVI-PASS has since been absorbed and superseded by applications under the Tento Health banner. All internet inquiries to covipass.com are now forwarded to tentohealth.com.
Salvato explains that “Greenberg told local reporters that vaccine verification would most likely become commonplace for cruise lines and some airlines as soon as July.” Salvato reported that Greenberg further said:
“They’re gonna be asking for it at your point of departure and your point of entry,” Greenberg said. He continued on saying additional places where you might be asked to “show your papers” include airline ticket counters, passport control lanes, and Customs and Border Protection embarkation points.
Jesus said: “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16.
Christians are sheep among wolves. That does not mean that we are to act like sheep. Jesus told us how to act. Jesus said we are to be harmless as doves and wise as serpents. Okay, so be harmless, and be wise. The gospel is the entire Bible. Matthew 10:16 is not all God said on the matter of how we should act. He also told us to be bold as lions. “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1-3.
Thus we are to be wise as serpents, harmless as doves, and bold as lions. Remember what God said about going along with the evil of this world. “Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” James 4:4. Only three verses later, God tells us to “submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7. Submit to God, resist the devil.
How can we be any of those things without knowledge? We can’t. We must be informed.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.” Hosea 4:6.
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7.
There is a time for everything under the sun. there is “a time to keep silence, and a time to speak.” Ecclesiastes 3:7. Now is the time to speak. Get knowledge; be harmless as doves; be wise and serpents; be bold as lions; speak out against this tyranny that is about to befall us.
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:10.
“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
