The Letter J was invented for the Italian language by a man called “Gian Giorgio Trissino” in the year 1524. It was used in Roman Numerals, but back then, it was an alternative way of writing I, not its own letter. Before the letter J, Jesus’ name was pronounced “Yeh-Soos”.
This is very interesting because so many people are using the name Yeshua instead of Jesus claiming that the name Jesus is disrespectful. My question would be what is Jesus name in the original transcripts?
I am glad you quoted Matthew 23. That group cannot be trusted and they even bragged about corrupting the Bible. Staunch KVJ defenders should trust the LXX more than the corrupted Masoretic. Would you trust the Matt 23 group? Consider the virgin birth proof of Isaiah. The LXX has virgin, the MT has young maiden. The New Testament preferred the LXX over the MT many times.
